Marcie Korman Handler, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Handler received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University after already having completed a Master's Degree in Psychology from New York University.  She gained experience in various prestigious New York City Hospitals during her training and ultimately completed her internship and fellowship years at Bellevue Hospital Center.  For her fellowship she served as the Chief Psychology Intern and helped to run the internship training program.  She was subsequently on staff at Bellevue and also supervised doctoral trainees.  She joined the New Jersey private practice world in the fall of 2007.  Dr. Handler also completed the Specialization in Couple and Family Treatment through the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.  She is licensed in both New York and New Jersey.
